Tour Itinerary
You will be met on arrival in Beijing and transferred to your hotel to check in for the next four nights.
Spend the day exploring the most popular highlights of magnificent Beijing. Walk through Tiananmen Square, immerse yourself in royal life at the Forbidden City, and admire the beauty of the World Heritage Listed Imperial Garden at the Summer Palace. In the evening feast on incredible Peking Duck.
Break out your walking shoes! Today you will explore the Ming Tombs and learn about traditional jade carving, before walking along the famous Great Wall.
Marvel at the wooden yet nail-less Temple of Heaven before walking through the old quarters of Beijing. Learn how to make delicious dumplings and enjoy lunch with a local family, then enjoy the afternoon at your own pace to explore as you wish. Board your train to Xi’an.
Transfer to the hotel for breakfast, in the afternoon visit the Provincial History Museum. Admire the thousands of treasures and relics preserved here. Finish the day with a delicious dumpling banquet and entertaining Tang Dynasty Show.
Today you will be in awe of the famous life size Terracotta Warrior Army and learn how the 6,000 replicas were painstakingly crafted. See the traditional Tang Dynasty era Wild Goose Pagoda.
Admire the Drum and Bell Tower Square, before wandering through the Muslim Quarter and local food market. Take an afternoon flight to Guilin.
Take a scenic cruise on the Li River, enjoying lunch on board as you pass by the beautiful landscapes. On arrival in Yangshuo you can explore the market town. Watch the fantastic Light Show in the evening.
On your way back to Guilin, stop in the remote region of Longsheng. You will see spectacular rice terraces and visit a minority village. On arrival in Guilin you will be taken to explore the city, with reflexology after dinner.
After breakfast, visit the beautiful Reed Flute Caves. Then transfer to Hangzhou by domestic flight. On arrival you will check in to your hotel for two nights.
Explore the celestial city, with a private rowing boat on the picturesque West Lake, then a visit to the Meijiawu Tea Village. In the evening enjoy a stunning lake performance.
After breakfast take the high speed train to Shanghai. In Shanghai you will explore the charming Bund, Yu Garden, and Chenghuang Market. In the evening you will be able to admire the view of the city from above from the World Financial Centre building.
Enjoy a free day at leisure exploring Shanghai at your own pace.
Enjoy the last hours in Shanghai at your leisure before making your own way to the airport on the Maglev Train (Magnetic Levitating Train)!
