The Spirit of China

The Spirit of China is a 13-day escorted tour exploring Guiyang, Anshun, Kaili, Zhaoxing, Kunming, Jianshui, Yuanyang. The program is designed to introduce the destination through a practical mix of guided sightseeing, local experiences and well-planned travel between each stop. The western provinces of Yunnan and Guizhou are home to many of China’s original minority groups, who still reside in their traditional villages.

As you immerse yourself in the spirit of China you will get to experience many of the original crafts of the minority groups, and admire the architecture of the buildings that is so different to that of the east. Wander amongst untouched natural scenery, with towering waterfalls, stunning caves, and sparkling terraced fields. The day-by-day itinerary moves from Arrive Guiyang through Zhaoxing - Guiyang - Kunming through Depart Kunming, giving the journey a clear sense of progression while allowing time to appreciate the character of each place.
