Depart Johannesburg and travel north-east through scenic countryside. Stop at the historic town of Haenertsburg before arriving at your tented bush lodge in Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger. Overnight at Tented Bush Lodge. *You may need a pre night as the tour starts at 7 am from Protea by Marriott

Early morning game drive with a qualified ranger in the Big 5 area. Return for brunch, relax at the lodge, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Tented Bush Lodge.

After breakfast, travel along the spectacular Panorama Route, renowned for its dramatic scenery and natural wonders. Highlights include: Blyde River Canyon — one of the world’s largest canyons The Three Rondavels rock formations Bourke’s Luck Potholes — remarkable geological formations carved by water God’s Window — panoramic views over the Lowveld Continue to Hazyview and settle into a tranquil lodge set within indigenous forest overlooking the Sabie River. Dinner at the lodge. Overnight: Greenfire Lodge Hazyview or similar (shared bathrooms)

Sunrise departure for a full day of game viewing in a different section of Kruger National Park. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Overnight at Greenfire Lodge Hazyview.

Relaxed breakfast before the scenic drive back to Johannesburg. Tour concludes late afternoon at your hotel or OR Tambo Airport.
