Tour Itinerary

You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Victoria Falls. The rest of the day is at your leisure until it is time for your Boma (entertaining dinner and drum show performance!).

After breakfast it’s time to view the spectacular thundering Victoria Falls! The afternoon is free for you to explore or we can arrange optional activities including bungee jumping!* In the evening enjoy a dinner cruise on the Zambezi River.

The morning is yours to enjoy before we transfer to the airport for an early afternoon flight to Hwange, the fourth largest game reserve in Africa. Enjoy lunch at camp before an afternoon game drive and sundowners before returning to camp for dinner (and elephant watching!).

Spend a full day exploring Hwange National Park with a picnic lunch in the bush. Search through the teak forests, semi desert scrub, and granite hills for majestic wildlife and birdlife.

Wake up early for a morning game drive before brunch back at camp. Transfer to Hwange Airport for the short flight to Kariba where we will enjoy our welcome on our houseboat as we cruise for Sampakaruma Island. You’ll enjoy a luxury suite on board with large private balconies and access to all on board facilities including swimming pools, the library, and more.

Wake up on board and cruise to Matusadona National Park. Here you can try fishing or search for game in a tender boat. The greatest populations of hippos and giant Nile crocodiles can be found here, as well as lion, leopard, swimming elephants, and more. Enjoy a traditional braai (bbq) on the shore in the evening.

Enjoy a final day of water-based game viewing and fishing before a farewell dinner on board.

Wake up onboard and enjoy breakfast as you cruise in to the harbour. Disembark the houseboat and transfer to the lodge for check in. Enjoy lunch overlooking Lake Kariba before exploring Kariba Town, with a walk into the Dam Wall zone between Zimbabwe and Zambia (don’t forget your passport!). Watch local handicrafts being made before admiring the view from the top of the mountain. Return to the lodge for sundowners and dinner under the sunset.

The day is free for you to enjoy the lodge facaitilies or arrange an optional activity such as parasailing over the lake!* Enjoy a farewell dinner under the stars.

After breakfast, transfer to Kariba Airport for the flight to Mana Pools National Park. Travel to the lodge in game drive vehicles, looking out for wildlife on the way. After check in and lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and more.

Enjoy a continental breakfast before embarking on an early game drive, returning to the lodge for brunch. The afternoon is free for relaxing around the lodge or enjoying an afternoon game drive. Enjoy a final farewell dinner.

After one last breakfast you will be transferred back to the airstrip for the flight to Harare, followed by your onward flight.
