Ancient Silk Road is a 12-day escorted tour exploring Xi'an, Lanzhou, Jiayuguan, Dunhuang, Turpan, Urumqi. The program is designed to introduce the destination through a practical mix of guided sightseeing, local experiences and well-planned travel between each stop. Travelling along it is the perfect way to explore Southern and Western China, immersing yourself in the differing cultures and ancient Imperial life. The day-by-day itinerary moves from Arrive Xi’an through Jiayuguan – Dunhuang through Depart Urumqi, giving the journey a clear sense of progression while allowing time to appreciate the character of each place. Published inclusions cover 11 nights quality (4-5 star) accommodation with daily breakfast; 2nd class high speed train (Xi’an – Lanzhou, Lanzhou – Jiayuguan, Jiayuguan – Turpan)
