Tour Itinerary

You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure to explore Kochi.

Spend the morning exploring Kochi, including Mattancherry, the Dutch Palace, and famous Chinese fishing nets. Enjoy lunch at a stunning waterfront eatery. In the evening be enthralled by a traditional Kathakali dance performance.

Take the journey to Alleppey and embark on your overnight houseboat journey through the backwaters of Kerala. Pass through beautiful canals and admire the scenery.

Wake up on the water and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Disembark in Kumarakom and wander through the villages, backwaters, and fields at your own pace.

The day is free for you to continue to explore Kumarakom at your leisure.

Continue to Thekkady and check in to your hotel for the night. Visit the vibrant Spice Plantation and Spice Market. Enjoy an interactive cooking demonstration in the evening.

This morning you will continue on your journey, travelling to Madurai. Wander through one of the most important places for Hindu Pilgrims, the Meenakshi Temple.

Explore the Palace of Tirumalai Nayak, a magnificent example of Nayak architecture. In the evening you will have a wonderful Temple experience.

Continue on your tour, travelling to Tanjore.

Visit the World Heritage Listed Sri Brihadeshwara Temple, and the Tanjore Palace and Museum The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your own leisure.

Travel to Pondicherry, home to a fusion of Indian and French. In the afternoon you will explore and learn about the history of the town.

Travel 210kms to the temple town of Mahabalipuram, best known for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of 7th- and 8th-century Hindu Group of Monuments. Continue to Chennai for overnight stay.

Explore the colonial sights of Chennai, then travel to Mylapore where you will see temples, cathedrals, and exceptional artwork. Return to Chennai for the evening.

After one last breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
