Tour Itinerary

Arrive in bustling Tokyo. Check in to your hotel for the next four nights. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Spend the morning exploring Meiji Shrine, impressive Tokyo Tower, the beautiful Imperial East Garden, and Ginza. Return to the hotel on your own for an afternoon free at your leisure.

Today you travel towards majestic Mount Fuji, visiting the 5th Station and Hakone Ropeway. Relax on a magnificent Lake Ashi cruise before returning to Tokyo.

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Tokyo. You could also choose an optional visit to Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea*. You may wish to arrange transfers for your main luggage to Takayama.

Take the bullet train to Nagano (activate your JR Pass) and transfer to a local train to Yudanaka. Visit the popular Snow Monkey Park, transferring with the free hotel shuttle.

Travel by local train back to Nagano using the pass where you are free to explore until it is time to take bullet train to Takayama. Walk to your hotel and check in.

After breakfast you will travel by coach to beautiful Takayama. Your luggage will be waiting for you here. However, you will need to pack (instead of back) another overnight bag, as tomorrow your luggage will be transferred to Kyoto.

On your way to Kanazawa you will stop at the World Heritage Listed Shirakawago. Explore at your own pace until it is time to take the coach to Kanazawa.

Enjoy the day exploring Kanazawa including Kenrokuen Garden, a gold leaf art experience, and more.

The morning is free for you to explore until it is time to take the express train to Kyoto. On arrival make your own way to the hotel for the next three nights.

After breakfast you will enjoy a full day tour of historical Kyoto, taking in the wondrous temples and sights. Visit Nijo Castle and Fushimi Inari Shrine, as well as the glistening Kinkakuji Temple. Enjoy a traditional local lunch.

Your day is free until early afternoon when you will travel to Nara to explore Todaji Temple and feed the friendly bowing deer in the Park. Return to Kyoto for the night.

Transfer by local train from Kyoto to Osaka and check into your hotel.

Today make use of your Koyasan Pass to visit Mt Koya by train and cable car.

Enjoy the day exploring Hiroshima at your leisure.

Take the bullet train to Osaka, then check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the port city at your own pace.

After breakfast the day is free at your leisure until it is time to transfer to the Airport for your onward flight.
