Tour Itinerary
Arrive in Okinawa and travel by monorail to your hotel in Naha. Check in for the next four nights.
After breakfast at the hotel take a short walk to your bus pick up point (Matsup Bus Stop, 60m). Today you will learn about the history of Okinawa, visiting memorials and sites from the Battle of Okinawa. Highlights include Shurijo Castle, Okinawa World, Peace Memorial Park, Himeyuri Peace Memorial, and Roadside Station Itoman. At the end of the day make your own way from the bus stop to your hotel for an evening free at leisure.
Enjoy breakfast before making your own way to the pick up point (Kenmin Hiroba, 650m walk). Today you will explore the northern area of Okinawa, with stops at Submarine Jr. II, Bise Fukugi Tree Road, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, and Mihama American Village. Your tour will conclude at same the pick up point from the morning and you have the rest of the day at leisure.
This morning you make your own way to the same pick up point as yesterday. See the natural beauty of Yanburu, including Higashi Village Fureai Hirugi Park, Cape Hedo, Daisekirinzan, Okinawa Rail Ecology Center, and Yanbaru Forest Visitor Centre.
Enjoy the day at your leisure until it is time to transfer to the airport by taxi for your onward flight.
