Tour Itinerary

You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure to explore Colombo.

Travel to the treasured Dambulla Cave Temple then continue to your hotel in Sigiriya and check in.

Tour the ancient capital of Polonnaruwa. This World Heritage Site is filled with stupas, religious sculptures, and a complex irrigation system. In the afternoon you will get up close and personal with majestic elephants in Minneriya National Park.

Enjoy a guided tour of the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura, the first ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka. You will be enthralled by the many shrines and monuments here.

Explore the spectacular Sigiriya Rock Fortress, before heading to the Spice Gardens of Matale. You will stroll through beautiful gardens before continuing to Kandy and checking in to your hotel.

Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, known for its emphasis on breeding and conservation of these gentle giants. Wander through the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, full of lush greenery and an orchid house.

Travel to Nuwara Eliya, stopping at a lush Tea Plantation along the way. Try local Ceylon tea and learn about its cultivation and history. Enjoy a city tour of Nuwara Eliya before checking in to your hotel for the next two nights.

After breakfast the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. In the evening you will enjoy a fabulous high tea at the hotel.

Continue on your tour, travelling to Yala via Udawalawe. The Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe National Park rehabiliates injured elephants from the area before releasing them back in to their natural habitat.

Get up close and personal with Sri Lanka’s greatest wildlife on a Jeep Safari in Yala National Park! From brightly coloured birds to magnificent leopards and elephants, you will not be disappointed.

Take the beautiful scenic drive to Galle, where you will explore the mixture of Portuguese, Dutch, and British heritage. Visit the Galle Dutch Fortress before checking in to your hotel.

The day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure in this idyllic holiday destination.

Visit the famous Kosgoda Turtle Sanctuary on your way to Colombo. On arrival you will tour the city before enjoying a fantastic seafood dinner at the famous restaurant, Ministry of Crabs.

After one last breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward ﬂight.
