Tour Itinerary

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

After breakfast the morning is free at your leisure until you are picked up for lunch at a local restaurant. Explore the local Chinatown and Giac Lam Pagoda (the oldest in Ho Chi Minh). Take a short walking tour through the Flower Market and Binh Tay Market. You when transfer to the ship for your Mekong River Cruise! Settle into your cabin before enjoying a welcome drink and dinner on board.

After breakfast onboard explore Ho Chi Minh City by land. Drive to town before your walking tour commences. See the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Municipal Post Office, and more. Return to the ship for lunch before visiting the War Museum. Transfer back to the boat for dinner and depart for My Tho as your sailing starts!

Cruise along the magnificent Chao Gao Canal before travelling by local boat to Thoi Son Island to learn about the locals and enjoy seasonal produce. Explore the Mekong Delta by Sampan before travelling by bicycle amongst local fruit orchards. Return to the ship for lunch and travel to Cai Be where you will enjoy a local boat trip to visit a craft village. Enjoy a kayak through the Delta, before mountain bike riding (optional) through the countryside. Enjoy dinner back on the ship as you cruise towards Sa Dec.

Enjoy breakfast on board before taking a panoramic boat ride of Sa Dec Visit a local school and the Sa Dec Market on the riverbank. Return to the ship for lunch and enjoy a relaxing afternoon as you cruise towards Chau Doc.

Be greeted at the pier and drive to Van Rau Ancient Pagoda for an incredible cultural experience. Travel to Tra Su Forest and explore by motorboat or row boat, admiring the diverse flora and fauna of the area. Return to the ship for lunch before crossing the border into Cambodia, arriving in Phnom Penh in the evening.

After breakfast onboard enjoy exploring Phnom Penh by land, visit the famous Royal Palace with its Silver Pagoda, and explore the National Museum. Travel by tuk-tuk and wander the Art Deco Central Market, meeting locals and exploring alleyways. Visit Wat Phnom and walk through the French Quarter. Return to the ship for an entertaining Apsara dance show and dinner.

Continue along the Mekong to Udong, Cambodia’s former capital. Transfer by van to visit the Vipassana Dhura Buddhist Meditation Centre. Return to the boat for lunch as you cruise towards Kampong Tralach. Travel by ox cart to the village of Kampong Tralach and visit the beautiful Leu Pagoda. Return to the ship by ox cart or cycle through the beautiful countryside. Set sail for Kampong Chhnang and you enjoy dinner on board.

Explore one of the largest fishing ports on the Tonle Sap Lake, Kampong Chhnang. The area is known for its fish farms and pottery style that is a fusion of modern and traditional. Taste local produce before returning to the ship for your last night on board. Enjoy a farewell dinner on the boat.

After breakfast transfer to Siem Reap by bus and check into your hotel for the next two nights. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Your last morning is spent watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Then return to Angkor Wat and explore the temple complex. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
