On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Take a morning tour of the city, wandering the impressive temples of Wat Visoun, the National Museum, and the UXO Centre. In the afternoon visit the stunning Kuangsi Waterfall, depending on the season you can have an afternoon swim. Learn about animal conservation at the Sun Bear Reserve before travelling to the Night Market. After exploring the markets you will experience a traditional Baci Ceremony with locals.

After breakfast the day is yours to explore at your leisure. You could also take an optional tour.* 1. Pak Ou – take a boat journey on the Mekong River, exploring the Pak Ou Caves and traditional weaving villages. 2. Rice Experience – visit a local farm and learn about rice cultivation. 3. Alms Experience – cruise across the Mekong and help a local family prepare the daily alms for local monks. Wander through the Monastary of Happiness, and enjoy the stunning views of Phousi Mountain. Take a Tuk-Tuk ride around Luang Prabang and visit the markets, then take a boat ride to the gardens of Pha Tad Ke.

Learn how local meals are cooked and participate in the daily giving of alms to local monks, before receiving a blessing. In the afternoon visit the city’s most beautiful temple, Wat Xieng Thong. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane where you will be met and transferred for your hotel.

Visit the COPE Educational Centre and learn about Laos’ Hidden War, then wander the Buddha Park. Explore Temples, Stupas, and Monuments.

Transfer to Pakse by air, then travel across the Mekong River to Khone Island. The afternoon is yours to enjoy on the island, relax, swim, or visit the local villages by bicycle.

Explore the beautiful Liphi Waterfall, on the border of Laos and Cambodia. You may even spot the rare freshwater Irrawaddy Mekong Dolphin! Take a scenic boat ride then see the Niagara of the East, Khone Phapeng.

Your last morning is free at your leisure until it is time to transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
