Asian cuisine is popular throughout the world, and Northeast Asia is home to many delicious foods! In Japan, you’ll enjoy delicious local feasts, with multiple courses and plates to share. Dine on noodles, rice, the freshest seafood, marbled beef, flavourful local vegetables, and multiple accompaniments. Try takoyaki, okonomiyaki, ramen, red bean filled fish shaped sweets, delicate mochi, and sashimi of course! A popular souvenir and gift from Taiwan (and one of our favourites in the MW Tours office), is the delicate pineapple cakes that signify prosperity for the new year. In South Korea some of the tastiest foods can be found at the local markets, so ensure plenty of time to tour though the mazes of stalls.
