This is our most in depth tour of China. From the famous Giant Buddha in Leshan, to the Terracotta Warriors in Xiโan, and the garden towns of Suzhou, this tour has it all. You will see all the most popular attractions like walking on the Great Wall (of course we add our own extras like enjoying a sunset champagne!), down to the lesser known sights such as the limestone formations of the Stone Forest. Tour Itinerary
You will be met on arrival in Beijing and transferred to your hotel to check in for the next three nights.
Spend the day exploring the most popular highlights of magnificent Beijing. Walk through Tiananmen Square, immerse yourself in royal life at the Forbidden City, and admire the beauty of the World Heritage Listed Imperial Garden at the Summer Palace. In the evening feast on incredible Peking Duck.
Break out your walking shoes! Today you will explore the Ming Tombs and learn about traditional jade carving, before walking along the famous Great Wall.
Marvel at the wooden yet nail-less Temple of Heaven before strolling through the old quarters of Beijing. Enjoy the Hutong tour and learn how to make delicious dumplings, then enjoy the afternoon at your own pace to explore as you wish. Board your overnight soft sleeper train to Xian.
Transfer to hotel to have breakfast, afternoon visit to the Provincial History Museum. Admire the thousands of treasures and relics preserved here. Finish the day with a delicious dumpling banquet and entertaining Tang Dynasty Show.
Today you will be in awe of the famous life size Terracotta Warrior Army and learn how the 6,000 replicas were painstakingly crafted. See the traditional Tang Dynasty era Wild Goose Pagoda.
Admire the Drum and Bell Tower Square, before wandering through the Muslim Quarter and local food market. Relax on your ๏ฌight to Shanghai, then check in to your hotel for the next three nights.
From the charming waterfront Bund, to the old streets of Chenghuang, you will not be disappointed in this bustling metropolis. Spend the day seeing the sights including Shanghai Museum. In the evening admire the view of the city from above.
Travel to the beautiful town of Suzhou, famous for its gardens, silk, and embroidery. In the afternoon transfer to Nanjing by train.
Spend the day exploring the highlights of Nanjing, including the City Wall and Confucius Temple Market.
Take the train to Yichang. After dinner you will board your luxury Victoria Cruise. Depart approximately 9:30pm.
Wake up with tai chi and a buffet breakfast. Tour the Three Gorges Tribe* and Three Gorges Dam*. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and entertaining Captainโs Welcome Party.
Today you can enjoy a shore excursion to Shennv Stream, then cruise through the Wu and Qutang Gorges. Tour the White Emperor City*, then relax for dinner and evening entertainment.
After breakfast you can venture on shore to the Shibaozhai Pagoda. In the afternoon be entertained on board, with a spectacular Yangtze Pirate Show after dinner.
Enjoy your last breakfast on board before disembarking around 8:30am in Chongqing. Explore the city on a day tour, then transfer to Chengdu by bullet train.
Get up close and personal with the famous Giant Pandas at the Reserve. Return to Chengdu for lunch and wander the distinct alleys in Jinli Street.
Drive to Leshan City and see the famous Giant Buddha carved in to the cliff face. Afterwards you will travel to Mount Emei.
Tour Mount Emei, visit the famous monastery, and explore the beautiful landscape. Return to Chengdu in the afternoon.
Learn about local cuisine at the Sichuan Cuisine Museum with a fantastic cooking demonstration. In the afternoon visit Dujiangyan, the ancient irrigation system build more than 2000 years ago.
Explore the streets of Chengdu in the morning before ๏ฌying to Guilin. Check in to the hotel and enjoy local cuisine for dinner.
Visit famous Elephant Trunk Hill, and marvel at the beautiful Reed Flute Caves. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
Take a river cruise to Yangshuo and wander the streets of this market town. Return back to Guilin in the late afternoon. Relax with a Guilin style foot massage*.
Free at leisure until transfering to the railway station for your high speed train to Guangzhou. Transfer to your hotel for check in and enjoy a delicious Canton style dinner.
Visit Chen Clan Academy, Yuexiu Park, and Shamain Island. After an authentic Yum Cha dinner at a local restaurant, enjoy your evening cruise along the Pearl River.
Free at leisure before it is time to transfer to the airport for your onward ๏ฌight.
