Tour Itinerary

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Spend the day discovering Angkor Temples. From the famous Angkor Wat, to the ancient walled city Angkor Thom, you’ll be amazed at the towering structures and carved terraces. After lunch you will have the opportunity to explore the untouched Ta Prohm Temple, where vibrant trees are intertwined with the temple ruins. Return to the hotel late afternoon for the rest of the day at your leisure.

After the three hour journey to Battambang you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs for a walk along the Sangker River. Check in to your hotel then visit Phare Ponleu Selpak, Cambodia’s largest not for profit art school. The evening is free for you to explore at your leisure.

Today you will explore the city and countryside of Battambang. Wander the central market before enjoying fresh produce and tea at an early 20th Century wooden home. Travel to Wat Banan, a pre-Angkorian Temple with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. In the afternoon cycle through villages and rice fields, before taking a bamboo train ride back to the town.

Enjoy breakfast before returning to Siem Reap by road, you will return to the airport for your onward flight. If you have a late flight you could take an optional workshop in Battambang with the Phare Circus, learning about traditional Khmer music and dance*.
